It has been a while, but let me tell you about where I have been and what I have been doing. I went to Chicago for work. During the day we went to classes, but in the evening we were tourists. I was able to walk the streets and not get tired, and I was ahead of some of the people in the group. This is a big thing for me. While I did gain some weight while there, 3 LBS, it came off quickly. I did have to try a Chicago style pizza. It was good, but the good thing is one piece was enough.
Today I accomplished a life goal. I finished a 5k. I never thought I would ever do one. Not only did I do it I did not need to stop to rest. Towards the end I was not sure about my ability but a very nice lady saw me struggling up the last steep hill and said we are doing this together. When we saw the finish line she said lets run to the finish. I passed the finish line running, well jogging. THANK YOU LeeAnn.
I am now going to list all the things I have accomplished during these 100 days.
1) Horse back riding
2) Hiking Arches National Mounument
3) Finishing a 5K
I could not have done this without all the support. I hate to see it end.

To anyone who reads this, I am sorry it has been a while since I last wrote. I have been very busy finishing up the last week of school. I did do something today I have not done in a LONG time. I went golfing, and might I add, It was a fine day for golf. I am rediscovering me in this whole process, and it is fun. I also went shopping for new clothes and lost 2 sizes (To bad they were cup sizes).

I did not finish telling about my Utah adventure. On the way home Monday, we stoped at Arches. I hiked to the windows. Not one of the toughest hikes in the park, but one I could not have done a few months ago. I with I could down load pictures. With out this program I would not have been able to enjoy the view from the top. I may not have lost a lot of weight, but I have gained a lot of confidence.

Sorry I am a day late, but after my adventure I was tired and slept well. We started of driving to Monument Valley, where I got the wild idea to rent horses and take a tour of the valley. This was a 2 hour ride. It was great. I have been there many times, but horse back is the only to have the valley experience. Next we went to Hoven Weep (not sure I spelled it right) and I got my hike in along a trail to look at ruins. The great news is, I passed every rest spot. I did not need to sit. Great work out.

Hi all, I am taking a little Utah Adventure. The only problem is I need a room with high speed internet and a gym. Here comes my problem; The gym is closed. I have been walking the streets and up and down the hall in the hotel. Tomorrow I am going hiking. That will be my exercise and I am so excited. I have not been able to hike for a long time because I have too out of shape. I’ll let you all know how it goes.

I am going to school and stayed up until 1:00 AM writing a paper. I slept in this morning feeling good about my accomplishments. I have lost weight, my paper is finished, but OH NO I forgot nutrition class this morning. I love these classes there is so much information, and it gives me a chance to meet with all the other ladies. Time to use my PDA for more than just my food diary:)

Who brought the Krispy Kream? Everywhere I turn at work there is junk to eat. Sometimes I feel like saying, “what is the use.” Then I remember why I am doing this, but let me tell you saying NO is not always easy.

I have been riding a bike. My husband heard me say that I wanted to be outside to exercise so for Easter he gave me a bike. I only have one problem, I gew up with a 10 speed this one has 21 gears, what do I do with the extra 11:)

Numbers not as bad as I thought. Tip always weigh on the same scale, at the same time of day. We all know this but sometimes get forgetful. While last week could have been better there is no use looking at it. I need to focus on the future, and what is to come.
