Hit the road with Blonde Runner's training classes

Lora Erickson, known as “the blonde runner,” is an entrepreneur, trainer, coach, race director, adult health teacher, running club co-founder and weight-loss specialist. Erickson offers classes as a personal trainer and health and weight-loss specialist.

“Whether your goal is to run a marathon, enter your first triathlon or shed an unwanted 20 pounds, I want you to become the next success story,” said Erickson.
One of the characteristics of Erickson’s classes that set them apart from other fitness programs is that Erickson will actually train alongside her athletes.  She says there is no “one size fits all” fitness program and takes a personal interest in each client as she works with them one on one.
Here are her upcoming classes.

WOMEN’S TRIATHLON TRAINING PROGRAM:
Have you ever wanted to do a triathlon before? Now is your chance. This training is for beginners and will focus on the sprint triathlon distance (300-yard pool swim, 11.5-mile bike ride, and 3-mile run). Participant numbers are very limited to ensure personal attention.

OUTDOOR GROUP PERSONAL TRAINING:
Are you ready to rev up your exercise routine and challenge your body to get lean?  Learn fun and effective ways to burn fat and get lean without a gym.  Discover the health benefits of exercise by a certified personal trainer and health educator. Pre-registration and payment is required to reserve your spot.  Limited spots.  
Location: variable, South Davis County area
Starting: July 1 – July 29 and/or Aug. 5 – 21, 2008   
Days: Tuesday and Thursday morning, 6–7 a.m.
Class duration: The training will be offered through July and August (no class on July 24)

FITNESS & DIET PLANNING CLASS
Learn how to achieve your ideal body fat, tone up and get fit for optimum health at any age.  Learn about meal structure to help you gain muscle and lose body fat.  Work with a professional certified personal trainer and health educator to develop a custom exercise and nutrition plan that fits your lifestyle, time and health needs.  Stay motivated and learn exercises that suit your needs and fitness level.  Pre-registration is required.  Limited spots are available.   
Location: South Davis Recreation Center, Bountiful
Starting: July 9 & 16, 2008, 6-7 p.m.  
Cost:  $20

WEIGHT LOSS CAMP
