The following information provides a brief description of each of the nine trail complexes of the state:

* Hardware Ranch/Monte Cristo/Logan Canyon Snowmobile Complex is one of northern Utah's unique recreational treasurers. There are There are 180 miles of groomed snowmobile trails that wind through the Wasatch-Cache National Forest. There are six trail heads in the area of Logan to Bear Lake.

* Wasatch Mountain State Park in cooperation with the U.S. Forest Service provides 70 miles on five separate trails for snowmobilers in the canyons of the Wasatch Mountains near Midway and American Fork.

* Mirror Lake/Mill Hollow Snowmobile Complex provides more than 150 miles of groomed trails traversing the high Uinta Mountains. This system can be accessed by five major trail heads.

* Ephriam: This snowmobile complex offers this trail system located away from the major population centers of the Wasatch Front. There are hundreds of miles of trails starting in five areas.

* Scoffeld/Skyline Drive Snowmobile Complex offers hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails with trail heads at Soldier Summit, Scoffeld Reservoir and Fairview Canyon.

* Strawberry Snowmobile Complex offers numerous play areas, well-groomed trails and steep hills. In just over an hour's drive from the Wasatch Front, snowmobilers can be unloading at one of the four major trail heads.

* Uinta Basin Snowmobile Complex provides easy access to the eastern Uinta Mountain Range. More than 75 miles of groomed trails take off from U.S. Highway 191, north of Vernal.

* Fish Lake: This area provides a scenic panorama with elevations reaching 11,500 feet. Trails provide access to excellent winter scenery and enjoyable play areas. Access to the trails of the complex is provided through six major trail heads.

* Cedar Mountain/East Fork Snowmobile Complex provides snowmobilers with extensive trails in Southern Utah's famous color country. Located within a four-hour drive of Provo, this snowmobile area is located east of Cedar City.
