The John Jarvie historical site is up along the green river, below the flaming gorge dam about 12 miles. has anyone been there before? i am going to be on the river and thought i would pull over and take a gander.

Well we found the John Jarvie Historical site right on the green river. There is even a ramp to pull you boat up to. It is a great site. The BLM has done a great job with it, and there are even some guides living there.

The whole place is filled with history, much of it exciting outlaw history.

There is even one of Butch Cassidy's hide outs there.

You can get to the site by water or by road. It's worth a trip if you are ever up by Flaming Gorge.
